Lest We Forget 2016 is a television special that features live in-studio musical tributes that honor many of the important musicians and music industry icons who sadly passed away in 2016 - including, among others: Leonard Cohen, Merle Haggard, Glenn Frey, David Bowie, Keith Emerson, Greg Lake, Victor Bailey, George Martin, Pete Huttlinger and Leon Russell. Featured musicians include, among others: Tommy Emmanuel, Radney Foster, Al Perkins, Michael Whittaker, Victor Wooten, Adam Wakefield and Jeff Berlin. The program is hosted by critically acclaimed pianist/composer/singer Jon McLaughlin and also features a nice “In Memoriam” segment with singer/songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman. Lest We Forget 2016 was produced in Nashville, TN at Raven's Landing Recording Studios. NOTE: Proceeds from the distribution of this program will benefit two different charities established to aid musicians in crisis facing serious life challenges.
